Happy Saturday! Four days until Christmas... 🎁🎄 We've loved getting into the festive spirit with you, whether it was our holiday pop-up booth, dinners, or simple texts. We are big on community and thankful to share this life with our friends and customers who often become one-in-the-same.

Lately, we've been appreciating simple pleasures like finding new recipes and rediscovering a favorite snack. We picked up this tangyuan from the Asian market, which brought me (Michelle) back to my time visiting relatives in China. My aunt introduced me to this traditional Chinese dessert and despite a slight language barrier, she knew I loved it and had it ready for breakfast almost every morning! They are glutinous rice balls in broth or syrup that are often filled with peanut, sesame or red bean fillings, similar in texture to mochi.

What simple pleasures have you been enjoying lately?

Thank you everyone who came out to our Christmas pop up booth at Hawthorne at the Carlyle. This year we offered gift bundles for folks still shopping. One customer called it a “one stop shop” with quality products. Congrats to Andrea for winning the giveaway bundle!
